As mentioned in the last post, here are the
picture of early beta!
Beta was the early testing mode of AJ. Beta was
very different from how AJ is today.
These pictures are from VERY EARLY beta.
You can click these pictures to make them
bigger!
The first picture is of the beta Jam Mart
Clothing.
The room was called "Jammer Clothing" and the
shop was just "Jam-Mart".
Items came in colors that don't exist today.
These colors were later changed to the colors of today's AJ.
Jammer Clothing was flipped around and had a
different appearance,
The next one is of the game Wind
Rider:
There were large branches in the game, unlike
how it is today. The number of how many gems you earned in the top corner looks
a bit different. Also notice how the wolf is colored with beta-only
colors.
This picture is of the game Gem
Ball:
Not much changed with this game... The main
difference is the X in the corner.
Next is a picture of the old Jamaa
Township
It looks really different. Also, when animals
used the "Sleep" action, their eyes would still be open. Also notice the bunny
on the left's mask is mainly white and grey. That is a beta color of the Mask
item.
Here is the entrance to the beta
dens:
The beta dens were huge! They had 3 floors, and
a bridge in the front. Notice that the furniture icon is different. This picture
was before furniture was even out.
And the early version of Club Geoz
Just like Jam Mart Clothing, Club Geoz was
flipped around. Some of the animals have beta colored Wings - They are black
with white tips.
The beta version of the Temple of
Zios:
Instead of the Zios stone pit, there was a
monkey statue. Game icons were signs, not floating purple controllers.
And another picture of Zios:
Notice the koala has tan-ish Gazelle Horns. I
forgot to mention that animals' nametags were different.
Crystal Sands
Crystal Sands looked like this since July 2011,
and was then changed to a Crystal Sands with 3 water slides. There are a lot of
beta colored animals in this picture. Also, leaf necklaces were brighter and
only came in one color.
Sarepia Forest
Sarepia Forest was just called "Sarepia".
Sarepia looked a bit different. There were different paths, and at the bottom
were giant mushrooms.
And my favorite picture...
The Chamber of Knowledge was the Chamber of
Mysteries. It had a different setup, and only had 2 floors. Look at the wolf
with the green top hat. Epic, right? :L
Unfortunately, those are all the pictures I
have... for now.
A Special Thanks to Lovelost For These Pictures!:)
